The idea is that far out planets induce small proper motion difference over 25 year between Hipparcos and Gaia. So if we can figure that out, we can identify imaging campaign targets.

This survey to look at these candidates is lead by Kyle. The separation between AF Lep b and its host star is similar to Saturn-Earth. This planet has been studied quite a bit since its discovery.

This also means we can start studying the atmosphere, resulting in a potentially enhanced metallicity #exoplanets5
