I think, as with many things on the internet and/or involving big tech, the conversation very quickly turns into polarized conclusions.
The narrative *wants* to be binary.
No one wants to read or write an article about how some topic is complicated and nuanced, and there’s lots of countervailing arguments that are at least somewhat orthogonal, and lots of invested parties are (heavily?) biased by self-interest…
But that’s all true. It’s a mess. Apple isn’t a villain or a saint.
