Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
“Aedh Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven” by William Butler Yeats
Yeats, one of the greats.
Published in 1899, the poem still rings true for all with dreams—dreams we want to share with others because in some cases they’re all we have.
Here’s to the dreamers—to the crazy ones as Jobs would put it.
“Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
—Steve Jobs
Thank you, jb55 (npub1xts…kk5s) for making your dream a reality, and it’s just the beginning!
Now for the rest of us to do the same and make the world a better place one realized dream after another.
Huzzah!
(Always fun to say)
Peace🖖
