I'm not attending because I'm (based on experience) simply unable to mask for prolonged periods of time. It's not a "I don't care about other people" thing - it's a "I simply can't tolerate masks for longer than about an hour without it becoming enormously awful."
I deeply resent the implication that I'm some sort of asshole because my ability to handle masks is evidently pretty limited.
