I made an extremely pleasing 'sludge' the other day, where the core ingredients were pearl barley, butter beans and cashew nuts (not salted/roasted. Their three flavours really blended well!
I went with a mild Indian spicy-ness with plenty of chopped leeks, onion and garlic, but I think the core combo would work with anything really... It was most yummy if I do say so myself... and I do! 😊
