Every day I’m in the office, many times a day, I hear these deep, aggrieved sighs that I thought were coming from my co-worker next door. But he’s not in today and I’m still hearing them. Now I’m trying to figure out where this sound is coming from. My building was an oil company’s headquarters until the mid-70s; maybe I have a midcentury office-drone ghost!
