Sure, unsurprisingly, Republicans approved of a Republican more than Democrats did, so party affiliation is the most important question, no doubt. But even among white Republicans church attendance almost exclusively increased approval, and to an *astonishing* degree also among white Democrats. Independents are, well, independent.
