Over 800k cars from VW, Audi, Skoda etc had an open API access point, so you could see their traffic over years. Where you drive to and from, and when, where you put your car etc. he then showed how they used this data to for example follow secret service agents home from work, or people who went to brothels, or cops to where they drove... Completly wild. Happens all over Europe.
Btw, this is mandatory in the EU for cars since 2018. (Yes it should be protected better, but it is always the same all over again)
