I wish it was just Top scientists, it's bread and butter PHD students and post docs too, not to mention Engineers, because our home grown ones get pinched by Finance Companies or overseas employers. None of the four trained engineers in my Family are working in Engineering in the UK. Two pinched by Finance, 1 each in UK & US, 1 in Sweden, 1 in antipodes.
