npub1g0tuf634rz4suczwj7kgnecr6cyt0eu9xmp3sp0fku68mqehq4msp3tvm4 (npub1g0t…tvm4) You're entitled to believe what you do about poppies but in my family we have always worn them in remembrance. Remembrance of my Mum's 20 yr old brother shot dead just 6 wks before the end of WW2 and my Grandad's brother who died of dysentry as a POW in WW1. I resent that poppies have been hijacked by jingoistic nationalism mainly by virtue signalling people who've never experienced the loss of loved ones. My family never got over its losses. Wearing a poppy is the least I can do.
