Why do we look for legitimacy where none could possibly exist?
Government couldn't possibly make just laws about subjects outside its purview anymore than a fish could make just laws about flight.
The roll of government is to protect individuals rights to defend all persons and property from plunder and oppression, It's defensive. Laws that actively restrict liberty or distribute and direct property, are a perversion of the word law.
Yet we still seek from government crypto reserves, tariffs, favorable laws for taxes as if there was a way to negotiate with terrorists, or men who seek to plunder. Make no mistake, these laws are not to improve justice, but to increase theft.
