Labour needs to have a sit down with editors, starting with the Times and Sunday Times. If they (a) want access and (b) no Leveson II then they need to start raking fresh ground in certain areas so Labour have the political headroom for change. And that could start with a press reappraisal of some of the loudmouths they’ve given unfettered access to. Cut off the oxygen of uncritical attention. If I were strategically laying ground that’s where I’d start.
