My primary PC (A ThinkPad T480 from 2017) will be replaced by an upgrade in the next few weeks.
I've spent several weeks researching, weighing up and talking to others about what they use and how happy they are with it.
In the end, it was the following:
- ThinkPad T14s Gen4
- AMD Ryzen7 PRO 7840U (ZEN4)
- AMD Radeon 780M (iGPU)
- 32 GB LPDDR5 RAM
- 1 TB SSD (PCIe4)
- 14” 2.8K OLED Matt (HDR 500, 100% DCI-P3, 400 cd/m² )
- Fibocom L860 LTE module
- English QWERTY keyboard with backlight
The AMD platform was somewhat important to me and I'm really excited to see how the 2.8K OLED display will perform in practice 🙂
Of course, the new laptop will also run Fedora
with KDE Plasma 
.
The old ThinkPad T480 will then go to my wife and replace her T430.
