I use Bastille to manage my jails and I recently hit a snag where I could not route out of the jails. I checked the bastille.conf.sample and discovered that I needed to simply add

bastille_network_pf_ext_if="ext_if" ## default: "ext_if"
bastille_network_pf_table="jails" ## default: "jails"

to my old setup.
