Rightfully, people are criticising politicians, CEOs, and other leaders for a lack of ethics.

This is where I think a brilliant project could come in. We could have "ethical offsetting". For example, Zuckerberg could offset the ethics of his recent Meta policy changes by purchasing ethical offset credits from an ocean cleanup group.

It's a win-win. Zuckerberg's ethics are cleaned, and these groups get an influx of cash. More good would be done in the world, overall.

This would work just as effectively as carbon offsetting does now.
