In other things I need to complain about - I've been happily playing in the very back of my university orchestra viola section this semester, and last night at the very end of the rehearsal, about 20 bars from the very end of Schubert's 6th Symphony, the tip of my bow snapped off! So sad!!
I do have a backup bow that I've never liked, and I definitely don't play enough to be worth spending $$$ on a new one so...sigh. It's been a good ~30 years playing with this bow!
