I hate it when jazz musicians do a cover of a rock song but act like it’s beneath them. Especially when they’re like, “Hey, can you believe we’re playing this?”
Just because you have the skill to play the music doesn’t mean you understand the music. Stop making this into a circus act and treat the music seriously.
