Scene change. It is evening. We see Marty scraping off a hot griddle in a taco shop. He adjusts his paper hat. He is absent-mindedly gazing out the front window the shop, into the open town square where young, happy couples saunter arm in arm, laughing gaily.
He is suddenly jerked out of his thoughts by the bell of the door jangling as it whips open.
"Get a load of this guy!" a loud, grating voice booms. In walks Bif and his two cronies. Bif has cool black hair and cool clothes with cool jeans. He doesn't play by nobody's rules. He saunters around and knocks a napkin off a table.
"Ole Marty McFly working weeknights at Taco Hell just to make ends meet, eh?" Bif snarls cruelly.
"What do you want, Bif," Marty says flatly. Bif gets all up in his face and we get a shot of them nose to nose.
Bif takes an extremely long time looking at the menu above them. He finally says, "I'll have the quesdilla. EXTRA chicken." He grins evilly.
Marty sighs to himself and begrudgingly turns away to get the ingredients, frustrated he should be forced to do his job like this. As he cooks the chicken, the audio fades out and we hear white noise as flashbacks play of various scenes of Bif tormenting Marty throughout the years. Bif steals Marty's football. Bif knocks Marty down in front of some lockers and laughs. Bif hits Marty's ice cream off the top of his ice cream cone and Marty's date points and laughs at him.
He is once again rattled out of his thoughts as Bif and his two buddies whoop and holler, rough-housing in the restaurant and causing a chair to rattle, startling two elderly patrons seated in the booth by the window.
"That'll be $1.75," Marty says as he drops the wrapped food on the counter. Bif throws two crumpled dollar bills down and laughs loudly, leaving.
