Giving the gift of sats via Strike.
Hey Jack,
I have an Idea, I want to see more people adopting bitcoin and I believe Strike is the best and easiest overall path. This will be win win for all!
Is there a way we can gift someone some sats that are not on Strike yet? Like say I have a nephew and want to gift him some sats to encourage him to adopt bitcoin and set up a Strike account. Like an email link sending him to Strike, set up an account to collect his BTC. I like this idea better than having to snail mail an Opendime for example.
I'm thinking if they are sent an email link letting them know they have some Sats waiting for them at Strike that was given to them as a gift by relative, friend, etc. If they wish to receive their gift they must set up an account at Strike. The gifted funds remain in the senders account on the side or say escrow until they accept. So the gift amount could move into an escrow account in the meantime so no chance of a negative balance. Say if 30 or 90 days pass (or whatever sender selects time limit as to accept) then void and returned to senders account. What ya think?
Hope to hear your thoughts...
I love your mission!
