I'm still gobsmacked by Nobel Physics being awarded for a CS thing
it's like Academy Awards gave Oscar for Best Picture to a particularly good plate of lasagne
or a video streaming service putting Casablanca in the Horror category. even calling it a "Masterpiece of horror, replete with blood and guts galore!!!" when.... well, its not. ifs far far from that
then again they gave a Nobel for Peace to Obama. and in his 1st year! no matter how much we liked Obama that was NOT deserved or even sane
