What I like about Rind, purely in the capacity of his subjective reaction surveys, is he identified a core assumption with conventional psychology and then designed replicable test purely within the parameters of the field that disproves that core assumption. This is Critical Theory at it's finest (Rind probably doesn't see it this way); it's an immanent critique of the field. Although I don't think it proves "we ought to have sex with minors" I do think it proves the way psychology approaches and studies sexual contact with children needs to be rethought.
