Space Treaty is a complete disaster. Means no one can have any homestead or business or anything off planet. Means no development off planet because can never make it pay. Ever. Means humanity is a sucker waiting for another big comet or asteroid or dies stewing in our own juices. Without does not mean anyone can claim the entire moon. You can only claim what you can work and defend. In space and off planet anyone and any group will have a hard time getting anything to be viable at all for a while.

Humans are so stupid when they claim all of them own equally hypothetical developments that so far we have no one that can even pull off. The ones that do the deserve the property they have tamed but no more than that.
