TIL Svenska uses right double quotation marks (”) at the start and end of quotations and that kills my soul a little. Straight quotation marks (") would be better than not enclosing the quotation.
It’s not as bad as Svenska’s comma and period switcheroo for number delineation (e.g. $ 0,50). That’s just nonsensical and inconsistent with how the language uses commas and periods.
