It's the academic/fancy-pantsy term for the kind of feminism that formally studies groups that are supposedly in more than on category of 'marginalizatiin'/'opression', thereby it brought into being the 'hierarchy of opression' ie the Opression Olympics, and more importantly it provided academic justification for letting men into womens intimate spaces by pretending that 'gender identity' and thus 'transgenderism' is a real concept that society is repressing, rather than a fetish that allows a small subsection of men to violate the intimacy and dignity of women.

Academic feminists will naturally explosively disagree with what ive written, but that's usually because their jobs and continued ability to take home a monthly salary depends on their professed belief of this gendered faith.
