one thing i miss from those horizontal PC cases is that the monitor could be stacked on top of them to get it a bit higher up. also, the front panel and the drives were right there in front of you.

i don't particularly miss mechanical keyboards. they felt ancient compared to light and bouncy dome switches. much easier to move around too. those things were HEAVY.

and also impractical since most of them used XT and you wanted AT for any new computer. we considered them e-waste.
