if you're paying for maintenance and depreciation yourself, which it seems like most of the middle-aged drivers are, it doesn't really make sense to do app delivery (which, BTW, if check out driver's forums, appears to earn much less than it did pre-pandemic) without selling the car and replacing it a cheaper car unless you have a dire short-term need for cash.
It seems like a lot of people are having a really tough time, maybe not by historical standards, but compared to the past 30 years.
