I knew that people who I would need to support me would not. I knew that the courts would likely not take my case. I knew that reporting would lead to further horrific experiences at the hands of the processes. I couldn't make myself face that.
Gisele Pelicot did all that so many times over. Gisele Pelicot is an extraordinary woman. We should change our society so that no future person has to be.
