If so then it is a serious mistake since the protocol would not have propagation power except for small communities of users who independently decide to bounce posts among friends of friends.
This is in short why we need to be connected to many nodes at once.
If so, the relays' transmission design is the protocol’s bottleneck.
If relays synchronized with each other we would need up to three relays, maybe one, if it is very efficient.
