Tadano (npub1lw3…f3ne) :frogc00l: :amespin: :niggy_dab: yeet :pogfish: :ina_hammer: :awoodance: (npub1tdf…p9pl) Well today was real easy because it rained a bunch, so no needing to take them water! Which we really needed because it's been a drought here.

I will say that raising sheep has made me much more appreciative of God humbling Himself to our level, to the point of being born in a manger. We think of the nativity scene as this beautiful, pristine place with fresh hay and clean animals, but that's not how reality is. Sheep are disgusting, they poop everywhere, the poop ferments mixed into the hay even with constant mucking; there's just not enough hay for it to be persistently clean.

Add to that the incredible grace God showed by inviting not only the smartest and most elite (in the form of the astrologers who could read the signs in the sky) to meet Him, but also the simple, humble shepherds from the fields. It really goes to show how the salvation God offers to us through Jesus was meant for everyone who would come to Him.

And for that, He is truly a good and wonderful God.

Merry Christmas!
