Monero isn't meant for that though, I mean you could run threadrippers or something and solo mine some. I've heard/seen miners do this, and hit blocks pretty quickly solo (blocks are 2 mins)
In saying that, who else pays you to Run a node?
Does Bitcoin pay nodes?
