NOSTR isn't really that. It's more like clients that let you connect to multiple centralized social networks (realys) at a time. The illusion of decentralization depends entirely on a few trusted relays that each client chooses for you.

Without that, you'd just be posted to a handful of remote islands. The only thing decentralized about NOSTR is identity from each independent network, and it's decentralized in a bad way. There's no mechanism for rotating keys, so if your identity is compromised once, it's useless forever.
