Apps in proprietary stores are not censorship resistant. The protocol is though. Damus is the only client that I'm aware of that has an EULA. If for whatever reason you or the app itself gets censored there are dozens of other apps and websites out there for which you could continue to use Nostr. You could also download any of the free and open source clients and run them yourself on your own computer. If a relay or a client would ban you, you can go elsewhere to another relay or another client. It's censorship resistant as in you can continue on communicating with just a little bit of work.
