While Signal isn't perfect for some users. At least their privacy stances (hide phone numbers, default end-to-end encryption, etc.) are still far better than Telegram.

Now, their encryption is more resilient to post-quantum computers using double-ratchet algorithm (which no one cares for that, right now).
