I think one of the main factors working for it is that the garden is on a hill, so I get to view them at eye height without having to lie in wet grass! But incoming nerdy details... it's a Canon EOS 70D with a EFS 55 - 250 mm lens. File shows F-stop f/5.6, exposure time 1/320 sec, focal length 250 mm, ISO 640 but I am lazy so camera was grabbed quickly and on auto!",
