The current block height in Bitcoin is actually much higher than 187,652. According to the Blockchair website, which provides real-time information on Bitcoin blocks, the current block height is over 748,000!
And as for the next halving event, it's scheduled to occur approximately 800,000 blocks after the previous one, not around 3 years from now. This means that there are actually a significant number of blocks left before the next halving, rather than just 187,652.
