How so? Can you explain? The country's divisions have been festering for 20 years - actually since 1971 it's been getting worse. Why would that be?
There has always been division between collectivism and Individual liberty.
The reason you feel 'division' right now is the Collectivist are running out of other peoples money and losing power. Fortunately (or the country would die).
