If it's permanent, get π€ a big one with π low-loss cable. For walking around, I use the Rokland π₯ 2.5 π dBi 8" antennas. They're tuned π really well and the range is probably as good π as it's going π to get. π They're π― thin π― and light, π so they don't strain π π that SMA connector. In the end, though, altitude trumps π antenna π€ every time.
