I don't mean to be old fashioned but a notable lack of documentation in code, paper, whatever were talking about suggests some kind of process problem. anything that is interesting enough to do needs some way for the people doing it to coordinate information. if that information doesn't show up in the thing itself, I get skeptical about the process
