I thought my new heater broke, so I bought a cheap one overnight on Amazon. It turns out the "broken" one has dust blocking the back so I cleaned it off and it works fine.
I plugged the newest one in anyway, but it tripped the breaker in my bedroom/bathroom. I reset it but the lights won't turn on in the bathroom. They weren't on when the breaker tripped, so they aren't blown. I tried resetting the GFCI switch in the outlet, but it didn't work. That outlet was already getting electricity anyway, because the other heater is plugged into and on.
I am returning the crappy one I don't need anyway. I filed a maintenance request. Now, I'm taking a shower in the dark, getting ready to go work a hectic long shift at work tonight.
