Won't it be a problem that there are only eight decimal places? That is the real achievement, THE advantage over gold. "Infinite" decimal places. At a certain point, gold is no longer visible to us and therefore not practical as money, even though it exists. Bitcoin could do this because it would only have to represent the number. What comes after sats? What am I missing?
