There's not a lot of practical distance between it's all in God's plan (so I don't need to do anything) and all-out nihilism (nothing really matters, so I do nothing.) End result is doing nothing. :-( This seems counter to the other religious message that we are God's hands and feet. I suppose we are the ones that get to decide which truth applies in which case, so it's all good.
