Well yes, "the real way" is going all-in. I just want a bite, just to get a taste of it. TBH I spend so much time compiling software already, not only in Slackware, but also in CRUX (which is gentoo-like), I'm not sure I have the time for a gentoo system, without dropping all of the great things I already do. Maybe when I retire... 😀
