Corkscrew lives on as an FAA "Alternate Primary Facility", an administration command post if things uh go bad elsewhere. I had guessed that the larger Yagi antenna visible on Google earth inside the FAA fenced compound points to the FAA Washington ARTCC (i.e. enroute control) in Leesburg but there is no yagi antenna there... until you scroll back in time to 2005 or so. Thanks for the nerd snipe 🙂
