I need some advice on cryptography related to using a secret value (say 256bit random data) to derive a series of keys (such as an ecdsa private key or an rsa private key). Reading about it I cant find anything conclusive, and going through the rust crypto api there are places I could do this with HKDF and then stuffing bytes into certain apis that take them, but theres a lot of risks there. Any advice or resources on this?
