My wife worked at Kaiser, so we got the best coverage for free for like ten years and loved Kaiser! Their system should just be nationalized. It was almost like how I hear the UK system works. But obviously much more expensive, now that we don’t get it for free. My current work doesn’t offer Kaiser and my wife quit to raise the kids and do her baking business, so being in the “real” health care system with HMOs and PPOs and deductibles and all of that has been a shock. Kaiser is way too expensive to just buy, too. We need the subsidy just for the shitty PPO my work provides!
