The Palace of Westminster is a place of work. If MPs legislate that they can't be lobbied outside Parliament, then where else can they be lobbied? Protests outside Parliament are a feature of our democracy & a civil right established by long useage. If snowflake Tory MPs (and make no mistake, it IS Tories agitating for this in the closing weeks of their tenure) can't handle it, don't be an MP. What has been "corrosive" in politics is the relentless assault on dissent.
