Turns out she likes it a lot.

But it's taken a while for everything to sync over from her phone. Like even with optimized storage turned on, photos still hasn't finished syncing. And now she's already out of room. Of course I got the base model since I wasn't sure she would actually use it.

So 3 weeks in, it's still syncing, now it's out of room, and the return window is already closed. Apple's stingy storage tiers at it's finest.
