Knowledge implies that certainty, but it's not always used in a way everyone would agree on - if a Baptist says "I know my God is a mighty God", the speaker's meaning is clear (and possibly sincere), and it's not clear that they are experiencing "knowing" differently than others.

Evidentiary standards vary, to say the least.
