There was some rain that was coming down the gutter that was starting to pool under the car port.. I sent Michael and his friend out to the shed to get a shovel so we could dig a little trench to keep the water from my parents front door so they could get in the house without getting muddy.....
Michael and his friend came back to the house and said here comes the flood... I went outside to see it and a 30 foot tall wave was coming down the canyon. The next door neighbors shed started to move due to the flooding and some water started coming towards us. Not a lot but enough that I told everyone to come in the house....
I quickly closed the door and water started to come under the door... this never happened in the other 10 plus floods the past month..... I told everyone to stand on the dining room chairs... when all of a sudden their other back door broke in and water came rushing into the house... I was scared....
