I don’t have an android phone to test unfortunately, but a couple things come to mind:

1. (Most likely issue) If you tap to hold a gif from search, then you are copying a “webp” type image, which isn’t supported everywhere like gifs (I did this because loading gifs is slow and webp is a more efficient file type)

2. Some gifs are large and take awhile for some clients to fully render and may appear as stills

I can try and think of something to accommodate that workflow
